Amateur photographer stumbles upon three bear cubs ‘dancing’ in Finnish forest

When physical education teacher and wildlife enthusiast Valtteri Mulkahainen was exploring the forest near the city of Martinselkonen in Finland, he came upon a magical scene

Valtteri who lives in Sotkamo, Finland is an amateur photographer and occasionally he takes his camera into adventurous trips through the wild Finnish forests. But a few years ago on a June sunny day, the teacher witnessed a scene that looks out of a fairy tale. While walking through the wood, Valtteri spotted a mama bear and her cubs, but when he got closer he couldn’t believed his eyes what he was seeing. The cute little cubs looked like they were ‘dancing.’

“The bear cubs behaved like little children,” the photographer shared with Bored Panda. “They were playing, and even started a few friendly fights, but at one point, the three of them got up on their hind legs and started pushing each other. It was like they were dancing in a circle.”

Almost overwhelmed by the emotions, Valtteri grabbed his camera and he started to take photos of the bizarre scene, but he acted as carefully and quietly as possible to not disturb the cubs from their dance. “All of sudden the cubs stood in a circle and began to push each other, stamping their feet,” Valtteri told My Modern Met. “They stood there for about half a minute, pushing and shoving.”
